In recent years, Aasa has helped build a Danish cross-university research group specializing in AI for fetal ultrasound, which — in addition to research — led to the foundation of Prenaital, a spinout company whose mission is to provide every woman with best-in-class prenatal care by using AI to support clinicians, regardless of their experience level, in making the best possible clinical assessments.
