Adeline Nazarenko is the director of CNRS Informatics since early 2023.

Adeline Nazarenko has been director of CNRS Informatics since early 2023. That CNRS division co-operates the largest French research labs in computer and information sciences (control, robotics, cybersecurity, computing, data science, artificial intelligence, etc.) with its university partners. It structures and coordinates scientific communities in these fields around thematic networks, major research programs, and research infrastructures.

It develops European cooperation and international partnerships. In particular, it plays a cross-cutting role in promoting of AI for science within CNRS. In 2022, Adeline Nazarenko created the CNRS mission for scientific expertise in support of public policy. Specialist in natural language processing, Adeline Nazarenko was previously a professor of computer science at Sorbonne Paris North University and head of a research team within the computer science lab, with a strong involvement in European projects and interdisciplinary collaborations throughout her career.
