Nathan Benaich has many years of experience investing in AI-first companies and leads the non-profit RAAIS Foundation.

Nathan Benaich is the Founder and General Partner of Air Street Capital, a venture capital firm investing in AI-first companies. His investments include Adept (acq. Amazon), Allcyte (acq. Exscientia), Crusoe, ElevenLabs, Intenseye, Delian Alliance Industries, Profluent, Synthesia, V7 Labs, Valence Discovery (acq. Recursion), and Wayve. Nathan is the author of the annual State of AI Report, the Guide to AI newsletter, and Air Street Press. Nathan also leads Spinout.fyi to improve university spinout creation starting with open data on deal terms, and The RAAIS Foundation, a non-profit that runs the annual Research and Applied AI Summit and funds open source AI fellowships. He holds a Ph.D. in cancer biology from the University of Cambridge and a BA from Williams College.
