Silke Obst is head of unit at the Commission’s Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA), responsible for industry. A German and French-qualified lawyer, she bridges legal and technical fields. Before joining HaDEA, Ms. Obst served in DG GROW and in the cabinets of European Commissioners Violeta Bulc and Dacian Cioloş and led financial services antitrust in DG COMP. She also worked in the private sector, with extensive experience in competition and corporate law.
