Agenda

This workshop will bring together world-leading experts from academia, start-ups, scale-ups, and large European industry to explore opportunities and challenges in AI4Materials — spanning generative AI, machine-learned interatomic potentials, and AI-orchestrated self-driving laboratories.

Day one features keynotes on state-of-the-art approaches in machine-learned interatomic potentials and self-driving laboratories, complemented by flash presentations, spotlighttalks, and a panel discussion on scientific excellence, open science, and international collaboration.

Day two highlights perspectives from global industry leaders, investors, and European front-runner start-ups, showcasing their vision and journeys. A second panel will address the balance between investment needs and opportunities for closing the innovation gap in Europe. The workshop will conclude by posing a challenge to the European scientific and start-up community in AI4Materials.

We welcome poster submissions as well as requests for flash presentations and demonstration pitches.
